Multimodal Experience of Gameplay
Researchers from the School of Psychology and Neuroscience are looking for participants for their study investigating how people engage with games.

- Study opens on 21 September 2026
- Study will close on 2 October 2026
About the study
The research investigates how people engage with games. It does this by collecting data, vocal data, heart-rate responses, and questionnaire responses.
What the study involves
- One 20-minute session during which you will wear a non-invasive heart-rate monitor while playing a touchscreen game.
- You will also complete a short questionnaire on gameplay experience.
Compensation for your time
- £5 Love2Shop voucher as reimbursement
Eligibility
- Aged between 18 and 30
- Computer game experience / skill not necessary
- Able to attend a 20-minute session between Mon 21 Sept and Fri 2 Oct
