About the study

We are graduate students in Psychology (Conversion). ​

The study investigates how people feel as they spend time in different outdoor environments.​

This study has been approved by the Faculty of Science Research Ethics Committee (Ref: 30031).

What the study involves

You would undergo two 30-minute study sessions in outdoor environments near the university campus and complete an online questionnaire.

Compensation for your time

You will have a chance to win ​a shopping voucher​ worth £50, £20 or £10.

Eligibility

You can take part if you:

  • Are aged 18 or over.​
  • Have not had a diagnosis of one of the following mental health conditions, diagnosed within the past 
    5 years: depression, anxiety, psychosis, PTSD, bipolar disorder or personality disorder.
