Academics from the University of Bristol have contributed to the UK’s next Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA4-IA), providing scientific evidence to inform national adaptation policy and strengthen resilience to climate change.
On Thursday 26th March, PolicyBristol and Bristol City Council’s Policy, Strategy and Public Affairs team held a joint workshop for University of Bristol researchers. The session aimed to help researchers gain an understanding of how local government works, a sense of council priorities, and practical tips for engagement.
On Monday 12 January 2026 Dr Sam Power was invited by the National Security Strategy (Joint Committee) to give evidence as a part of their Defending Democracy Inquiry, in particular to comment on vulnerabilities of foreign interference through political financing.
