Detection and multi-wavelength characterisation of galaxy systems up to high redshift in deep-field surveys
Dr. Greta Toni (she/her) is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bologna, Italy. Her research focuses on the growth of large-scale structures in the Universe and the evolution of galaxies within them. In this talk, she will present results from her past and ongoing work on the detection and multi-wavelength characterisation of galaxy clusters, groups, and protoclusters across approximately 12 billion years of cosmic time. This includes the construction of the COSMOS-Web catalogue of galaxy groups and protocluster cores, as well as an analysis of the build-up of the quiescent galaxy population within these environments. The presentation will conclude with an overview of future research directions.
