Climate resilience is a complex and power-laden process that involves negotiation, trade-offs, and contestation. All raise important questions of who has power and influence in defining (and making) resilience. Based on a systematic literature review, this paper critically analyses how power is theorised and treated in climate resilience scholarship, with particular attention to questions of scale, knowledge(s), and subjectivities.
