Questionmark (sometimes referred to as QMP) is a dedicated system for delivering and managing online formative, high-stakes summative assessment and examinations. It is widely used both in the academic and the commercial sector in the UK.
It offers a wide range of options when designing assessments and detailed feedback on assessment results. Students access tests via a web browser either synchronously (often in a computer lab) or in their own time on their own device, depending on how the test has been designed.
Questionmark have advised us that there will be scheduled maintenance taking place on 20 February 2021. The purpose of the maintenance is to deploy system updates to ensure the ongoing reliability, security and up time of the platform. During this time all users may experience service disruptions. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
You will need to contact us to talk about what you would like to do and to arrange training. Setting up online assessments is usually very front-loaded and requires some awareness of relevant University regulations, particularly for exams. You will need to make sure you have enough time and support. Our page on planning your assessment will give you a good idea of the types of task involved.
These pages contain support materials and trained users of the system have access to Questionmark's own support pages. If you have any questions, please email digital-education@bristol.ac.uk.
