What is Fun Palaces all about?

Fun Palaces is a local campaign that happens all over the world. It's about sharing skills and creating tiny revolutions. While the ethos of the campaign - making connections and sharing skills - continues all year long, each year there is a weekend of action where Fun Palaces are built by, for and with local communities.

At the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute, we're pleased to host a Fun Palaces Ambassador, who's focus is on building networks of self-led communities across Bristol - all of whom come together during the weekend of action to build Fun Palaces! For us, this is a chance to link health researchers up with local communities, so that meaningful connections are formed around valuable discussion, and the chance to learn and share together.

Find out more about Fun Palaces, and use the interactive map to find an event happening near you. It's a great chance to meet new people, have a good conversations, and learn something new.
