Opportunities for the public
Where possible, we encourage members of the public to meet our researchers, discuss their work and suggest new research ideas.
- Public Advisory Group: If you are a spokesperson within your community (whether that community is geographical, online, faith-related, patient-focused or any other type of community), or if you work for a community organisation that is interested in knowing more about health research at the University, you might be the right fit for our Public Advisory Group.
- Annual Public Lecture: Our Annual Public Lecture takes place every year in October. Each year we welcome a keynote speaker in the world of health to speak on a pressing topic, and we encourage members of the public to come along.
- News bulletin: Sign up to our Institute bulletin to keep up to date with our research projects and events.
- Tell us more: If you have ideas for future health research at the University of Bristol, or if you are planning a project with health themes that engages your community, contact us and tell us more. Where possible, we will provide links with researchers working on relevant projects.
