Mental health and wellbeing impact of COVID 19
ALSPAC’s pre-pandemic information and rapid new data collection enabled researchers to examine changes in mental health and inequalities during the pandemic, alongside risk factors for long COVID.
ALSPAC deployed six COVID-19 questionnaires, three home antibody testing studies, a pre-vaccine immune response study, and a long COVID questionnaire and biological sample collection. This created a resource for investigating the pandemic’s effects.
We consider this an important contribution towards academic research.
