Exposure to peanut oil and risk of peanut allergy

ALSPAC research showed that using skin creams containing peanut oil on broken skin could increase the risk of children developing peanut allergy. The findings contributed to changes in skin cream formulations and recommendations for warning labels on medicinal products containing peanut oil.

We consider this an important contribution towards academic research.
