Childhood inequalities and lifelong health

ALSPAC research has examined how socioeconomic disadvantage in childhood relates to health and educational outcomes, including differences in metabolic health across early life. Its repeated measurements enable researchers to investigate when inequalities emerge and how they develop over time.

We consider this an important contribution towards academic research.
