Bristol city centre is the commercial, cultural and business centre of Bristol. As you would expect, it's very lively with lots of bars, clubs and restaurants as well as the vibrant St Nicholas Market. It extends down to the waterfront and beyond as far as Cabot Circus.
Much of the accommodation is in converted office blocks & warehouses and here you will find many of the larger commercial purpose-built residences.
This area is 10 - 20 minutes walk to the University. There is little or no free parking - but plenty of traffic.
What they say
It is good due to its position, but otherwise it is expensive and you have to walk up Park Street to University . The only reason that I choose to live down here is the closeness to all the clubs. There are no clubs that I have been to that are more than ten minutes walk away!
