Take the A4018, signposted for Bristol West. Come down the dual carriageway, which turns into a single carriageway after the second roundabout. Continue on the A4018 for approximately 2 miles until the next roundabout, at which you need to take the third exit on your left to Parry’s Lane. After approximately 600 yards down the hill take a left turn into Shaplands. In Shaplands continue past the entrance to Hiatt Baker Hall and the row of garages on your left and take the next left turn into University Hall.
Follow the A4 Portway (dual carriageway) towards the city centre for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach a set of traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn left into Sylvan Way (A4162). At the next set of traffic lights turn right into Shirehampton Road (B4054). Keep on this road until the mini roundabout and bear left. Follow the road around the next bend, which bears to the right and you are now in Parry’s Lane. As the road begins to climb up the hill, and after the Unigate Dairy on your right, take the next right turn into Shaplands. In Shaplands continue past the entrance to Hiatt Baker Hall and the row of garages on your left, and take the next left turn into University Hall.
From Temple Meads Station in Bristol, you can take a taxi or catch the number 1 or 54 bus to the White Tree roundabout, or number 41 to Parry’s Lane. From the bus stop follow the directions given above.
From the central coach station you can take a taxi or catch a number 41 or 42 to Parry's Lane. You can also catch a number 1, 54 or 55 to the White Tree roundabout.
