If you are a University of Bristol student you can use this courses online booking system to view and sign up for skills training events offered by the Students' Union, IT Services, the Faculty of Medical & Veterinary Science, the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, the Faculty of Social Sciences & Law and the School of Biological Sciences.

Note: Other departments in the University also run skills courses for students. For instance, the Careers Service offers an extensive programme of events. Research postgraduates may also attend Staff Development courses. See also the Student Skills Directory, which lists a wide range of skills courses and learning materials.


About the Students' Union skills courses

The Students' Union service provides study skills training to all students and a range of specialist training to students involved in community and volunteering projects, or as officers in sports clubs and societies, and other activities.

It is designed for Research Students within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Bristol, for whom attendance on the workshops is free.
