Visas and immigration

Once you have firmly accepted an unconditional offer to study at Bristol and have sent us your passport details, we will email you a Certificate for Acceptance of Studies (CAS).

Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)

A CAS is a unique electronic reference number and accompanying electronic virtual document containing information about your course of study, as well as your personal details. It is not a paper document.

Having a CAS does not guarantee your application will be successful; you must still meet all the other eligibility criteria.

If you notice any errors in the information contained in your CAS, contact us before making a visa application.
