Teaching staff
GP Teaching Fellow
In addition to the opportunities available to GPs who wish to teach primary care to undergraduate medical students on a sessional basis, a small number of GPs work on a regular part-time basis at the Centre for Academic Primary Care (CAPC) as GP Teaching Fellows.
These posts are for people who wish to make medical education a substantial part of their career.
Each GP Training Fellow has particular responsibility for one or more of our courses.
Such posts become vacant only occasionally, but if you have a keen interest to be involved in undergraduate teaching in primary care at Bristol Medical School, rather than in your practice, please contact Professor Trevor Thompson.
