Queen's Building Closure Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 May

The Library will be closed on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 May due to essential maintenance work being carried out in the Queen's Building.  
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Extended opening hours during the assessment period

Up to Thursday 1 June 2017, the Queen's Library will remain open until 9pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Please note for the May bank holiday on Monday 29 May we are open from 9am to 5pm with Reduced Services.

During periods with reduced services only reading, reference, loan and return facilities are available. When the library is closed a book return box is available.

Loan periods and borrowing limits

All Queen's Building Library items are subject to the standard loan periods and borrowing limits with the following exceptions
MaterialLoan periods and restrictions
Journals All users - seven-day loan
Reference books with confined labels, items from special collections and other pre-1850 items, current issues of journals, examination papers Confined to library

Visitor Access

The University of Bristol library is open to external researchers and visitors who have a genuine need to use materials not available in other libraries. Please go to the Visitor Access webpage for current information.
