Loan periods and borrowing limits

All Arts and Social Sciences Library items are subject to the standard loan periods and borrowing limits with the following exceptions:

  • These materials are confined to the library:
    • new books on display
    • reference books
    • theses
    • items from special collections
    • recent issues of journals
    • examination papers
    • books marked with a red label

IT Counter

The IT Counter is centrally located on campus in the Arts and Social Sciences Library, it is on the far left-hand side of the building as you pass through the 'Ucard' barriers.

The counter is currently open weekdays 08:30 - 17:00 and aims to offer an efficient and friendly service and currently operates on a first come first served basis.

The counter is co-located with the Student Laptop and Mobile Clinic to offer a combined service for staff and students at a single location.

Subject Librarian
