Click and Collect and Postal Loan Service

You can now access printed materials that are not available in electronic format with the Library's Click and Collect and Postal Loan Service.

Click and Collect Service

Click and Collect is available for printed items held in all libraries except the Arts and Social Sciences Library and the Veterinary Sciences Library, which are open for self-selection and self-issue of books from the shelves.  

The service is available for items that are in stock and not available in electronic format.

You can request up to

will be the ground floor of the Arts and Social Sciences LibraryBooks from the Veterinary Sciences Library can only be self-selected and self-issued at Langford. 

Postal Loan Service 

If you are not able to visit campus and are based in the UK, we can send you books that are not available electronically via our postal loans service. There is no charge for the service as the cost of posting items to you will be met by the Library.

We aim to dispatch postal loans within one week of receiving your request.  This may vary depending on demand and requests will be processed in chronological order of receipt. This is a new service and request levels will be monitoredwe may need to temporarily suspend taking requests at short notice if demand is high to prevent lengthy waits for fulfilment. 

Books will be issued until Monday April 19, 2021.

Postal services in some areas of the UK are being severely impacted by COVID-19, and users could experience delays in the receipt of items.  If your request is urgent, please specify the latest date you need the books when you make your request.
