Senior Common Room
The Senior Common Room (SCR) comprises the Warden, Deputy Warden and Hall Senior Residents. Further details about each of the SCR members can be found on the Staff and Senior Residents page. The SCR facilities are located together in the south corner of the Main Building, and comprise the Salway Room, and the John Allen Room.
The SCR dine at High Table on Mondays and Thursdays. Senior Residents have a threefold role: each Senior Resident offers general pastoral care to an allocated group of students within Hall, typically two floors; each undertakes some specific responsibilities for the cultural, social and sporting life of Hall; and each participates in the duty rota. They all live in Hall, and you should feel free to approach them at any time.
Student residents of the Hall are regularly invited to join the SCR for dinner at High Table, usually with a member of staff from one of the University's academic departments.
