Junior Common Room
The JCR (Junior Common Room) comprises all the undergraduate residents of the Hall. The JCR Committee, which represents the interests and views of the student body, is elected each year by the student residents of the Hall towards the end of October. The Committee comprises the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, as well as officers responsible for specific areas such as communications, sports, entertainments, and overseas students.
The Committee is responsible for the social and recreational side of Hall life by organising events, entertainments, sporting teams and so on. The photograph on the right was taken at a JCR event during the Introductory Week in October 2007 for new students.
