BlueCrystal – a £7 million supercomputer facility

The Advanced Computing Research Centre manages the University’s state-of-the-art High Performance Computing and Research Data facilities. Here, BlueCrystal, the University’s £7 million supercomputer facility, can carry out 37 trillion calculations per second supporting high-level research across a range of disciplines.

The Centre for Nanoscience and Quantum Information

The Centre for Nanoscience and Quantum Information is an £11 million building housing specialised laboratories where vibration and acoustic noise levels are among the lowest ever achieved, despite being located in the centre of Bristol.
