Getting started

You will need to contact us to talk about what you would like to do and to arrange training. Setting up online assessments is usually very front-loaded and requires some awareness of relevant University regulations, particularly for exams. You will need to make sure you have enough time and support. Our page on planning your assessment will give you a good idea of the types of task involved.

These pages contain support materials and trained users of the system have access to Questionmark's own support pages. If you have any questions, please email

We can provide advice and support on the following:

  • planning and running online assessments, including online exams
  • writing effective questions, through a training session or using our online tutorial: writing assessment questions for online delivery
  • using the system, as a one-to-one or small group training session
  • An orientation webinar for any of the areas related to online assessment
