Computer Room (The Reynolds Room)
The computer room is found on the first floor of K house and is available for use 24 hours a day.
Launderette
Churchill has an on-site launderette for use by students. Tokens need to be purchased to use the washing and drying machines – these are available everyday from the porter or housekeeping staff. Washing and drying tokens cost £1 each.
Library
The library is situated at the far end of the main building (near to K house) and is available for study/reading during the opening hours of the main building.
Piano room
There is a piano/music practise room located near the dining hall for the use of all students until 10.30pm each day.
JCR Bigscreen
The Bigscreen in the Junior Common Room is accessible during the full opening hours of the main building.
Darts
There is a dart board in the JCR bar; darts can be obtained from bar staff in exchange for you University of Bristol student card as a deposit.
Pool Tables
There are two pool tables, one in the Junior Common Room and one in the JCR bar. The table in the Junior Common Room is available for use during the full opening hours of the main building.
Snooker
A free, full-size snooker table is situated in the hexagon (near the hall bar). Snooker balls can be obtained from the bar, by leaving your University of Bristol student card as a deposit
Table Football
The JCR bar also has a table football table, costing 40p per game.
Table Tennis
A free table tennis table is situated on the balcony above the dining hall – equipment can be obtained from JCR members in exchange for your University of Bristol student card as a deposit.
Other Bar Facilities
The JCR bar also has a range of other facilities, including a Playstation 2 games console and jukebox.
Other Nearby Facilities
There are a number of other nearby facilities available for use by Churchill Hall residents.The nearest free tennis courts are those between Wills Hall and Durdham Hall, less than 5 minutes walk away. The university sports complex at Coombe Dingle is around 15 minutes walk from Churchill Hall grounds.
