A bit of pre-planning will help to make your arrival in Hall smooth and trouble-free. Take a moment to check that you have made appropriate arrangements ahead of Fresher Sunday.
All payments to Badock Hall for any reservations must be by cheque. Please ensure the correct payee details are on each cheque - see the relevant application form.
A student wishing to occupy their room before Sunday 3 October will need to book early residence at a cost of £12 per night - uncatered.
Each student room has internet access by subscription to Resnet
To book, download the car permit reservation form (pdf, 75.5kb) and send this with payment direct to the Hall Office.
A deposit of £20 is required to secure a bike space - 60 spaces exist in Hall. A key will be issued to you on arrival. You will be returned £15 of your deposit when the keys are given back at the end of your stay at Badock Hall.

two towels will also be supplied. This should assist greatly with luggage allowances. To book a bedding pack we will require 2 weeks' notice before the start of term. Bedding packs will be placed in student rooms prior to arrival and payment will be invoiced after the student has arrival in Hall.
On the first day of term the Hall Photo is taken. This is the perfect memento of your first year at University. If you would like to pay in advance for one of these photos, scrolled and in a presentation box you may do so by completing the Hall Photo Application Form (pdf, 76.6kb) and forwarding this to Hall with the necessary remittance, before you arrive.
The photos may also be purchased in a bevel edged card frame or fully framed. There will also be opportunities to buy photos during the Autumn term, if you prefer.
