Badock Hall Christian Union

Badock CU is here to help and encourage Christians in hall whilst also reaching out and supporting each other in spreading the gospel.

We get together every Wednesday at 7.15 to read and discuss the bible, pray and chill. Everybody can come along to the meetings, Christians or non-Christians, to explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus. So if you have any questions or simply want to talk it through, come along and we’d be happy to see you there.

Check out the profiles below to find out a bit about your Badock CU reps for 2011/12

There’ll be loads going on throughout the year for you to get involved with, including socials, talks and events. You can keep up to date with the CU on our facebook page ‘Badock CU’.

We look forward to seeing you in October!

from left to right: Jonny, Amber and Josh

Josh Eveson – I’m a Physics student, who lives in Cyprus, but was born in the equally glamorous, premier league city of Norwich. I’ll be living in Clifton Wood next year, but will probably be working in Badock kitchens, asking if you’d like chips with that.

Jonny Winterburn  – I am currently studying for my masters in Mechanical Engineering and love both sport and playing music. I’m part of the Bristol Uni Football Club and do a bit of cycling on the side. I’ll be living in Badock for the year, so my door’s always open for those who want to pop by or grab a pint.

Amber Kemp – I am not, as you might think, the niece of Ross. I’m studying Anatomy, and my favourite game of all time has to be 'OPERATION'. I love a good cup of tea, cake and a natter, so you’ll probably find me in Boston Tea Party. I’m living in Cotham so when you’re fed up of Josh’s chips you can pop over to mine for some grub!
