You may wish to apply for various services or facilities prior to starting your year in Hall.  The forms available should be completed and forwarded by post with the accompanying cheque payment.  facilities such as parking and secure bike spaces are limited in number so please apply as early as possible

Early Arrival - if you need to move into your allocated room before the main Fresher Arrival Day on Sunday 30th September you should ensure you apply at the time of accepting your accommodation offer.  A link will be available from the email you receive.  Please note that catering does not start in Badock Hall until the evening of Sunday 30th September so early arrivals will need to be prepared to purchase sufficient food to cover their needs to that time.

Parking Permit for Badock Hall - only 25 spaces available to be allocated on a 'need' basis

Hall Photo order

Students studying Geography and Geology, in particular, may be attending a pre-session field trip.  You are welcome to bring your belongings to Hall when you travel to Bristol to join the field trip - but DO let us know so we are ready to welcome you before the main arrival date of 30th September.  The Hall is open between 0800 hrs and 1530 hrs each weekday.  No charge is made to leave belongings early and we will retain your room keys for safety so you do not lose them during your trip.

Students on pre-session sports training tours or programmes may also deliver belongings to Hall early.  It is vital you fore warn us of this.  If intending to stay in your room you will need to apply using the application form attached to your e-induction.  Leaving your belongings in your room before you depart incurs no charge.  If you choose to stay in Hall overnight from 23 September onwards, the appropriate charge will be added to your accommodation fee invoice by the Finance Office.

Advising overnight absence (Exeat Form)

The BLUE exeat form is found in Main Reception below the post pigeonholes.  Please complete one if you intend to be away from hall overnight - this is required in case of an emergency situation, so that we can quickly account for missing persons or contact you.  If you are not able to get to main Reception then

Request for visitors to stay

The visitor form is YELLOW and hard copies are available under the post pigeonholes in Main Reception. As with absence from Hall, we also need to be aware of all non-Badock residents staying on site.

A student may have a visitor to stay for a maximum of two nights and permission should be sought at least 3 days in advance.  The Warden will not refuse visitor permission unless previous problems have arisen.  Visitors may not prolong a stay by moving from room to room.

Any visitor found on site without registration is liable for payment of the standard charge of £21 per night.  An unregistered visitor will be asked to leave campus at once if they refuse to provide payment, or if they are responsible for any disturbance on site.
