Life at Badock Hall is made as simple and enjoyable as possible, so that all residents get the most from their first year at University. The Hall is run within the overall rules and regulations published by the University of Bristol.
Full details are given within the Facts & Figures section.
Students are asked to adopt a responsible attitude to communal behaviour. To this end it is important that prospective residents appreciate the few clear rules by which the Hall is run.
The Badock Handbook should be read by all students prior to starting life in Hall.

There are many aspects of living in a hall of residence that contribute to a happy and memorable experience. All part of this is celebrating life. Making sure everyone knows it is your birthday is bound to bring a smile to our faces ....... even at breakfast time!
Providing the Warden considers proposals are safe, she will agree to students organising all manner of entertainment events to make time in Hall a year to look back on with the fondest of memories. Indeed if students wish to stay in Hall for more than a year they are most welcome to apply.
The Hall staff works hard to maintain a safe and hygienic environment and to support the residents. In return there are many ways in which the residents can help the staff, not least by appreciating how communal life operates.
