Refreshments

Unless stated otherwise, refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. If you have any dietary requirements please ensure we are aware of these.

Clothing

Open toed shoes/ flip flops are not permitted in the dissection room. It is also worth noting that the dissection room is cooled so if you feel the cold then it may be worth ensuring you have a light jumper for under your lab coat. Please take a moment to read the Health & Safety (PDF, 357kB) guidelines for the dissection room.

Getting here

Courses are held at the Vesalius Clinical Training Centre, Southwell Street, Bristol, BS2 8EJ.

The University has useful how to get here information.

The Southwell St building is number 39 on the University precinct map. The surrounding roads are all controlled residential parking areas so street parking for longer than 3 hours is not possible. The most suitable carpark is the Trenchard St NCP carpark indicated on the map. It is approximately a 10-15 minute walk (uphill!).

As this is a very central location, traffic at rush hour can be very heavy so please allow time for this.
