To apply for University accommodation for the duration of your pre-sessional course, you need to have an unconditional offer and have paid your course deposit.

Cancelling your accommodation
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must email student-accommodation@bristol.ac.uk.
You can cancel your reservation within seven days of making your payment and receive a full refund providing that your tenancy has not started, and you have not moved into your accommodation.
You can cancel your reservation after seven days of making your payment, but you will not receive a refund.
Taking over another student's room
It's important to note that as an incoming pre-sessional student, you are not able to take over the tenancy of a current student already living with us. You must not sub-let a room from an existing University of Bristol student. This is a breach of your tenancy conditions.
Moving in
Before you move into your pre-sessional accommodation, you must complete the Accommodation Induction. This is available via the Accommodation Portal and is designed to help you prepare for living in your pre-sessional accommodation.
We will send you a pre-arrival email that has all the information you need about planning your journey, arriving at your residence and collecting your room key. The address and postcode for your accommodation can be found on the Manor Hall, Richmond Terrace and Queen's Road pages.
You can also pre-order kitchen equipment and bedding from Accommodation Supplies at Pattersons. You can get your items delivered to your residence and they can be stored for up to 10 days before you arrive.
After your pre-sessional course
If you are continuing your studies at the University after your pre-sessional course, you must make a separate accommodation application for your undergraduate or postgraduate accommodation.
Visit our Applying for University accommodation pages for more details on application dates and the guarantee.
If there is a gap between your pre-sessional accommodation and University accommodation, we will arrange for you to move into temporary accommodation or in some cases you may be able to move into your University accommodation early.
