Board membership
Find out about who is on the Board of Trustees, and the latest diversity monitoring results.
The Board is made up of several appointed members:
- Independent Trustees including;
- up to sixteen Independent Trustees (including the Chair, Deputy Chair and Treasurer) who are nominated by the Nominations Committee
- one Independent Trustee nominated by the Alumni Association
- two Academic Trustees
- two Professional Services Trustees
- two Student Trustees.
The University's Vice-Chancellor and President and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost are also members of the Board for the duration of their time in their respective roles.

The University particpates in a Governance Apprenticeship Scheme and may host one or more persons in the role of Board apprentice. The Board apprentice attends meetings.
