Our student life sessions offer an introduction to the services that support university life in Bristol.
Find out what you want to know about the Bristol student experience with our talks and question and answer sessions. These sessions must be booked in advance when you book onto the open day.
All talks last approximately 30 minutes and require booking in advance.

Drop-in sessions
University is about more than just your course, and we can’t wait to show you what else is on offer at our open day. There are plenty of non-bookable drop-in sessions, so make sure you leave time to:
- Explore our gallery and new Creative Lab at the Arts & Social Sciences Library including live VR demonstrations.
- Join current Students of Colour in Senate House between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm (43). This is a chance to hear about their lived experiences, ask honest questions and connect in an informal setting.
- Meet our student-facing services in the Exhibition at the Richmond Building (80), between 9:30 am and 4 pm.
- Picture yourself studying in one of the many libraries or study spaces open on the day, including the impressive Wills Memorial Library (26).
- See the facilities available in our Indoor Sports Centre (42) and swimming pool (80).
- Tour student accommodation in Clifton and the city centre, between 9:30 am and 4 pm. Clifton Hill House, Manor Hall and Orchard Heights residences are available to view and are a 10-15 minute walk from campus. Our Avon Point residence is also available to view and is a 10 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads.
- Tour student accommodation in Stoke Bishop between 9:30 am and 4 pm. Free shuttle buses will be running from Woodland Road to Badock Hall, University Hall and Wills Hall which are available to view. Please note the last bus to Stoke Bishop is at 3 pm.
- Talk to our dedicated careers team to learn about the employability support available for students at the Careers Centre (41).
- Visit the Global Lounge, a unique space in the heart of campus open to all home and international students, between 10 am and 3 pm (43).
