Studying theoretical physics, you'll learn how to understand and predict phenomena in the physical world, based on a conceptual and mathematical understanding of the laws of the universe.
Your first year follows the structure of the MSci Physics course. After that, the focus shifts to developing your theoretical methods in more depth.
Our MSci courses give you the chance to study advanced, research-led material in your final year. You'll develop originality in applying knowledge and master advanced techniques to solve complex problems.
