For fees purposes, we classify students either as UK (Home), EU, Overseas or Channel Islands and Isle of Man students.
How we decide your fee status
Classification is largely determined by your residency and we follow regulations set by the UK government:
- The Student Fees (Qualifying Courses and Persons) (England) Regulations 2007 mainly for undergraduate study;
- The Education (Fees and Awards) (England) Regulations 2007 for postgraduate study.
When you’ll find out your fee status
If you apply to Bristol, we’ll confirm your provisional fee status when we make you an offer, however we may query this later if we have reason to believe it may be subject to change.
If we need further information from you when we receive your application, we’ll ask you to complete a fee status questionnaire.
We are not able to make a decision on your fee status before an application but if you have queries about your fee status once you have applied, please contact our Prospective students enquiries team: email@example.com.
