Book a wellbeing appointment

If you are finding things hard at university (personal circumstances, studies, or anything else), talk to a wellbeing adviser.

Steps to book an appointment

  1. Check whether you live in university accommodation.
  2. Select the right option for you:

Book by phone

You can also call +44 (0)117 456 9860 to book an appointment. This phoneline is staffed from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm.

Get support for sexual violence or misconduct

If you have experienced sexual violence or misconduct, contact our specialist team.

How advisers can help

Book a 45-minute appointment with a wellbeing adviser to discuss any difficulties you are having.

The appointment should help you:

  • understand your options and what is available to you
  • take control of your situation with confidence.

We can offer support, advice or refer you to other services to help you overcome challenges at the university.

Our confidentiality statement explains how we handle and share information.

TalkCampus

If you need support out of hours, or sooner than you can make an appointment, TalkCampus can help. This is a separate service providing additional support to University of Bristol students.

Speak to a clinical professional by phone, 24 hours a day, for immediate, short-term support. Sessions are one-off and available in multiple languages.

How to access TalkCampus

Open the TalkCampus app and select Clinical Helpline. This will give you the phone number for the country you are calling from.

TalkCampus is not an emergency service. If you need emergency help, call 999 or contact Security Services if you are on campus.
