How to pay your fees in instalments
Spread the cost of your tuition and accommodation fees by paying in instalments.
You can pay in instalments in two ways:
- set up a Direct Debit to take payments automatically from your UK bank account on the due dates
- make manual payments on or before each due date
To find payment due dates, see the When to pay your fees page.
Set up a Direct Debit
If you have a UK bank account, you can pay your fees by setting up a Direct Debit payment plan.
To set up your plan:
- go to your financial statement and select ‘Create a payment plan’
- follow the on-screen instructions
You will receive a confirmation email once your plan is set up.
You must set up your plan by:
- 9 September 2026 for accommodation fees
- 25 September 2026 for tuition fees
Once your Direct Debit is set up:
- payments are taken automatically on the due dates, so you do not need to take any further action
- make sure there is enough money in your account on each payment date
- do not make additional payments, as this may result in duplicate charges
- set up a new payment plan at the start of each academic year
Year abroad students can set up a Direct Debit in the same way.
Pay manually
If you have not set up a Direct Debit, you can make payments manually on or before each due date.
Sign in to your financial statement to make a payment.
