Alice Sullivan, Professor of Sociology at the UCL Social Research Institute
University of Bristol, room TBC
A talk with Alice Sullivan, Professor of Sociology at the UCL Social Research Institute
Every discipline in the social and human sciences is affected by the demand not to use sex as a conceptual or empirical category. The threat to academic freedom posed by the imposition of gender identity theory is therefore profound. In this talk, Alice Sullivan will draw on her published work, including How can universities promote academic freedom? Insights from the front line of the gender wars to provide insights from the frontline of current battles for academic freedom and scientific and educational values.
