Professor Agnes Nairn - Co-Director
Agnes is Chair of Marketing and Pro Vice Chancellor (Global Engagement). Much of her recent work has focused on the prevention of gambling harms - particularly the impact of gambling marketing on young and vulnerable populations.

Professor Sharon Collard – Co-Director
Sharon is Chair of Personal Finance and also Research Director of the Personal Finance Research Centre. Her recent research has looked at the role of financial services firms in reducing gambling harms; and women's lived experience of gambling.

Dr Vanessa Marshall - Hub Manager
Vanessa is the Hub Manager, working closely with the Hub Co-Directors providing support for the Hub activities, overseeing both its strategic and day-to-day operations. She has worked for over 15 years in research management including at the Bristol Biomedical Research Centre, and the Drug Safety Research Unit in Southampton.

Rebecca Axford - Hub Administrator
Rebecca is the Hub Administrator. She provides administrative support to the Hub including diary management, planning meetings, website maintenance and conference organisation. She also provides executive support to the Hub Co-Directors.

Dr Emily Crick - Hub Research Development Associate
Emily is a Research Development Associate in the Hub. She provides support and guidance to researchers in order to build research capacity, increase research income and enhance the impact of research carried out in this space. She also oversees the Research Innovation Fund.

Dr Jamie Wheaton - Hub Research Associate
Jamie is a Research Associate in the Hub. He has previously researched the digital transformation of the land-based betting industry, exploring its socio-economic impacts from a critical perspective. His current research interests lie in the exploration of the socio-economic and cultural impacts of gambling, as well as their intersection within sporting industries.

Dr Raffaello Rossi – Hub Communications Lead
Raffaello is a Lecturer in Marketing and Communications Lead at the Hub. He has worked extensively on the effects of gambling advertising to young people, resulting in national and international media coverage, discussion of the research in UK parliament, and has contributed to a several changes in the regulation of gambling advertising.
