These procedures have been put in place in response to several funders releasing policies on bullying and harassment, research misconduct and fraud. Each of the policies is slightly different and therefore processes have been put in place for each. Please familiarise yourself with the relevant funders’ policy as they are only briefly summarised here.
The University of Bristol classifies all allegations of bullying and harassment within their own framework. No formal action will be taken unless the behaviour involved is deemed by HR to be sufficiently serious to warrant a formal investigation. Please be aware of the UoB Acceptable Behaviour in the Workplace Policy (PDF, 145 kB).
Please be mindful that there is often a very tight timeframe in gathering this information so that application and award acceptance deadlines are met.
In addition to the below guidance (listed alphabetically), for existing grant holders, please also refer to the terms and conditions in the contract of your grant for any additional or superseding potential requirements on these topics.
If you do not see a funder in the below table whose research integrity terms and conditions you would like to better understand, please contact research-ethics@bristol.ac.uk and we will investigate these and update you on them.
