Reporting research misconduct
So that we can assess any allegations of research misconduct fully and expeditiously we encourage you to complete the research misconduct reporting pro-forma to report any allegation relating to the University of Bristol:
We understand that making or being the subject of an allegation of research misconduct can be a very difficult experience. If you have any questions or want to discuss the matter, in strictest confidence, you can contact the Research Integrity Officer or Research Ethics and Integrity Manager via research-misconduct@bristol.ac.uk.
Research Integrity Reporting
In the University's annual statement on Research Integrity we are required to report the number and nature of research misconduct allegations made each year, and their resolution.
Many funders also require that any allegations made against researchers they fund be reported to them. Details of these expectations can be found in the terms and conditions of funding agreements, we have summarised them here, based on previous reviews: Research integrity: funder reporting requirements
