BPI Seedcorn Fund Projects for 2024-25 Awarded!

3 March 2025

This academic year's (2024-25) BPI Seedcorn Fund projects have now been awarded! And we are delighted with the three interdisciplinary and innovative projects selected.

The three research projects selected to be funded by this year's BPI Seedcorn Fund promise to further develop knowledge, know-how and understanding in their respective poverty-relevant themes. And it is the outputs and data produced from such projects - beginning with the likes of journal articles and published results - that form the basis for the progression of socially just policy and practice.

The three project titles are -

  • "Low wage work in the education system: food banks and food insecurity"
  • "Poverty and financial wellbeing in the UK: an intersectional approach"
  • "Ultra-Processed Foods and Health Inequalities: A data-driven approach to understanding socioeconomic disparities in diet"
