Food Justice Workshop: Connecting Research & Communities (Part of Food Justice Fortnight)

The Food Justice Workshop was a dynamic event co-hosted by Feeding Bristol and the University of Bristol’s Bristol Poverty Institute (BPI), Bristol Researchers Food Justice Network, and Cabot Institute for the Environment. The gathering was designed to bridge the gap between researchers and community groups working towards Food Justice in Bristol, to foster collaboration and drive meaningful change in the city.

Participants discussed how they could work together to meet community needs and share best practice. The breakout groups also cultivated a deeper mutual understanding of the food inequality landscape in the city, to help ensure that research initiatives are aligned with the real-world needs of Bristol’s communities.
