Bristol Bioresource Laboratories (BBL) provides a high quality, professional and responsive sample processing and biobanking service based at the University of Bristol.
The expertise of BBL is underpinned by 30 years of experience in biological sample management for both large cohorts and small studies.

BBL are home to the ALSPAC bioresource that was named UK Biobank of the Year in 2018, and runner-up in 2022 by the UKCRC Tissue Directory and Coordination Centre
BBL is licensed by the Human Tissue Authority under the UK Tissue Act (2004) to store human tissue for research (research licence 12512).
