How to Apply

All applicants, whether studying at Bristol or another university, should begin their application through the Intercalated Degrees webpage.

Information for External Applicants

If you are applying from outside the University of Bristol, we recommend obtaining approval from your pre-clinical or clinical dean before submitting your application. Verbal approval is usually sufficient at the application stage. However, if you receive an offer, formal written approval will be required before you can enrol.

Applications from Other Universities

Applications from students at other universities are considered equally alongside those from University of Bristol students. Each year, approximately one-third to one-half of students enrolled on the BA Medical Humanities programme come from institutions outside Bristol.
