Research interests
Sabina Sanghera is a Senior Lecturer in Health Economics. Sabina holds an NIHR Postdoctoral Fellowship (2018-2023) to determine how best to measure and value quality of life in economic evaluations of chronic conditions with fluctuating health.
Her research expertise is in (1) the measurement and valuation of health and broader outcomes and (2) economic evaluation of public health interventions with intersectoral costs and benefits. Other research interests include economic evaluation in women’s health and cancer.
Sabina's research has been used to inform national clinical and public health guidelines. She has published her research in peer-reviewed journals such as Social Science and Medicine, PharmacoEconomics and Value in Health. She has presented her research at national and international conferences including the Public Health England Annual Conference, European Congress of Health Economics (ECHE), the European Health Economics Association (EuHEA, formerly ECHE), the UK Health Economists’ Study Group (HESG) and the International Health Economics Association (iHEA).
