You can read the new Policy on the SharePoint knowledge hub.

As part of this ongoing work, we have commissioned a new system to undertake an annual audit. The initial audit will be for all Grade J staff and above.

The new policy and audit exercise will commence on 9 February 2022. All staff on Grade J and above (and equivalent Academic pay spines) will receive an email to complete this audit.

Audit: Actions needed by Grade J colleagues and equivalents:

Note: If you are taking part in the audit, you do not need to complete the Conflict of Interest - Outside Work form attached to the Policy as you will have secured approval via the online audit. You do, however, need to confirm the approval when updating your My ERP Conflict of interest - Outside work tab.

Any changes to your Outside Work status between audits must follow the due process as detailed in the new Policy.

The new Conflict of Interest - Outside Work Policy has guidance for managers. The principles outlined in this guidance together with the Policy should be read by all managers prior to approving any outside work declarations (whether staff undertake the audit or follow the due process as detailed in the new Policy.

For colleagues who may not have used MyERP for a while there is a ‘show me’ video which shows you how to update your My ERP outside work tab.
