Electrical Energy Management Group

The Electrical Energy Management Group has over 50 researchers who undertake research into low carbon electrical systems that are enabled by advanced, compact and highly efficient electrical machines and power electronic conversion. The group is a core member of the UK Centre for Power Electronics.

UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship Award 2021 – Dr Nick Simpson

As a recipient of a 2021 UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship, Dr Nick Simpson will lead an ambitious and comprehensive research programme into metal Additive Manufacturing for electrical machines from the Electrical and Energy Management Group Lab.
