About the event

This session launches the TLC 2024-25 Research Stories series. This event will be focused on generating research data and we welcome three ‘stories’ from current researchers. Our ‘storytellers’ in this event are Dr Frances Giampapa, Paola Sarmiento Huerta and Pen Williams. The three speakers will share their data generation methods and relate these to their own research journeys. The seminar will last for 1 hour, followed by tea/coffee between 15:00-15:30.

These events are open to all staff and students across the School and include stories about research from researchers across the School of Education. We aim to use these stories as prompts to think and talk more about the processes of doing research - both when it goes well and when it doesn't!  We invite you to come along and think more about what generating data has meant and means in your studies and research.
