PGR networks and clubs

The BDC facilitates a number of different interest groups specifically for PGRs, which provide a chance for you to meet other researchers outside of your Faculty or School.
PGR clubs
- PGR Board Game ClubRegular evenings in the PGR Hub where you can play games from the Hub's extensive collection.
- PGR Craft ClubWork on your craft projects or pick up a new skill by learning how to crochet and embroider with fellow crafty PGRs. Snacks and craft materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own. The PGR Craft Club holds their sessions on the 1st Wednesday of each month from October to December.
- PGR Film ClubA chance for PGRs to watch films together with time to chat about films and catch up with other PGRs. Keep your eye on the Bulletin for polls to choose the film for the next screening.
- PGR Chinese Calligraphy ClubJoin the Chinese Calligraphy PGR Club and brush up on more than just your handwriting! Learn and practice Traditional Chinese Calligraphy in a relaxed, social setting. We provide the materials — you bring the curiosity.
- PGR Football clubWe are a large group of postgraduates who play both casual and competitive football together every weekend at Coombe Dingle. All footballing abilities are welcome, and if you're interested in joining, please reach out to Dan Joinson at ta20395@bristol.ac.uk
