The 'Skill for the Future' Summer School equips Bristol doctoral researchers with the competencies to succeed in collaborative research with industrial sponsors and other external organisations.

This free, three-day skills development opportunity runs from 1-3 July and is open to all doctoral researchers wishing to gain insight into the potential applications of their degree outside of traditional academic pathways.

Places are limited to 30 participants - the deadline to apply is midnight on 14 June.

I went to the 'Personal Impact and Confident Networking' training session which was absolutely excellent and really helped me to feel more confident in my status as a researcher but I also learnt things that will help me in all aspects of my life.
